Climbing at Sass di Stria by JamesRushforth Climbing at Sass di Stria by JamesRushforth
25/09/13 - Climbing at Sass di Stria, Valparola Pass, Dolomites, Italy.

Camera data (Exif):
Canon EOS 6D
Samyang 14mm

A beautiful spot and a beautiful route. Sass di Stria is an idyllic little peak perched high on the Valparola / Falzarego pass. Here Pat is making the long reach to the good pocket on some delicate footholds.

Thanks for viewing.

Thanks very much. Personally I love the Samyang 14mm. The best feature is obviously the price, amazing value for money. Find it excellent for night photography, see .

The manual focus and manual aperture take a bit of getting used to and wouldn't be great for say fast action sports.

It's obviously no-where near as good as something like the Nikon 14-24, but is considerably cheaper!

Hope that helps :)

His yellow shirt is really offering a great contrast. I do like how you've gone for darker exposure too.
